The Green Bay Packers  already spent big on four impactful free agents. Here are three more players to target after the first wave of 2019 NFL free agency.

The Green Bay Packers and general manager Brian Gutekunst went hog-wild early with adding players, spending big and breaking an old habit during the first wave of 2019 NFL free agency. In case you haven’t heard, the Packers officially announced the signings of outside linebackers Preston Smith and Za’Darius Smith, safety Adrian Amos and offensive lineman Billy Turner.

The signings of the two Smiths help shore up a weak pass rush rotation, while Amos is an excellent addition on the back end. Signing Turner was an smart signing when factoring in his versatility, seeing that he’s played all of left tackle, left guard, right guard and right tackle during his career.

Even though free agency started on Wednesday, March 13, and the majority of the bigger names have already been scooped up, there’s still plenty of players to go around. Besides that, many players are waiting out the free agency period to go on visits and test the waters.

And then there’s the fact that some veterans are still to be released by their respective teams. For instance, former Packer Jordy Nelson was just let go by the Oakland Raiders on Thursday. Many have speculated a return to Green Bay could be in the works.

The Packers still have around $15 million in cap space (per Over the Cap), so it’s a possibility Green Bay isn’t done spending just yet. In fact, during his press conference on Thursday (via the Packers on Twitter) Gutekunst stated the Packers are “still peeking” at a few free agents that remain on the market.

With three out of the four signings being on the defensive side of the ball, could Gutekunst and the front office have their eyes on shoring up the offense? With plenty of talent still available, here are three players the Packers could target after the first wave of free agency.
