Round 2, Pick 35: Marquise Brown, WR, Oklahoma

After trading for one Brown, the Raiders add his cousin here with their second round pick and bring Marquise Brown to Oakland. Giving Murray, Carr, or whoever the quarterback in Oakland is next year another weapon, the Raiders add a third receiver to the mix with Antonio and Tyrell Williams.

It is unfortunate for Marquise Brown that he is recovering from an ankle injury and was unable to compete at the combine and put his skill set on display for NFL scouts and general managers. Weighing in at 166 pounds at the combine did not help Brown much either.

However, being compared to DeSean Jackson, Brown is a burner who could become a major deep threat at the next level. Having a guy like Marquise who can take the top off of the defense could give Antonio all the room he needs to operate underneath and eat opposing defenses alive.

Although Brown only had two full seasons as a starter for the Oklahoma Sooners, he finished both seasons with over 1,000 yards. He concluded his college career with 132 catches, 2,413 yards and 17 touchdowns catching passes for Baker Mayfield and Murray. Here in the second round, the Raiders bring him to Oakland.
