4. Oakland Raiders: Quinnen Williams, DT, Alabama

At one point, Quinnen Williams felt like a lock to be the No. 1 pick in this draft — especially considering that Josh Rosen was the quarterback of the Arizona Cardinals. With that being the case, it was all but a sure thing they were going to take the Alabama defensive tackle who burst onto the scene in 2018 with a breakout campaign.

Measured at 6-3 and 303 pounds, Williams had 19.5 tackles for a loss and eight sacks as a redshirt sophomore for the Crimson Tide. Then, he headed to the NFL Scouting Combine and impressed even further. Williams ran the 40-yard dash in 4.83 seconds, which is incredible for someone so large.

With all that being said, he finds himself being selected by the Oakland Raiders with their first of three picks in the opening round. While the team would love to add a premium edge rusher here after trading away Khalil Mack in 2017, the truth is they can use defensive linemen at every position.

Williams will not only cause a lot of problems for opposing offensive linemen trying to block him, but he will also take attention away from some of the other players on the line. He’s also arguably the No. 1 player in terms of overall talent, making him a steal at this spot.
