3. WR Pierre Garcon (San Francisco 49ers)

Could there possibly be a reunion of sorts when it comes to the franchise one of the more productive offensive players for the team this decade?

In two seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, veteran wide receiver Pierre Garcon was a disappointment. Of course, a lot of that had to do with his health as he played in only eight contests in each of his two campaigns under Kyle Shanahan. It added up to a combined 64 receptions, good for 786 yards and one score in 16 games and starts.

Prior to his arrival in the Bay Area, the one-time sixth-round draft choice of the Indianapolis Colts spent five seasons in D.C. Over that span, Garcon caught 376 passes for 4,549 yards and 21 touchdowns — leading the NFL with 113 receptions in 2013. The last three years with the ‘Skins, under head coach Jay Gruden, the effective performer totaled 68, 72 and 79 grabs, respectively.

Garcon is back on the market after the 49ers decided not to pick up his option. The Redskins have already lost Jamison Crowder to free agency (New York Jets), but also brought back Brian Quick once again. Don’t rule out the possibility of a Garcon return to the organization and the 11-year pro should come at a very reasonable price.
