One other player who could be available at No. 58 and should be considered by the Cowboys is Gerald Willis III. He’s the younger brother of Landon Collins, the former New York Giants safety who just signed a massive free-agent deal with the Washington Redskins this offseason. As for Willis, he was originally a highly recruited defensive tackle for the University of Florida.

However, Willis found himself in trouble often with the Gators. He was involved in a fight with a teammate during his lone season in Gainesville and was dismissed from the program following the 2014 season. He then headed to Miami where he spent 2016 as a reserve and then left them in 2017.

Willis returned from his absence in 2018 and had a career year. The 6-2, 302-pound Willis registered 59 tackles and four sacks. He has incredible pass rush skills as a 3-tech, but he also disappears for long stretches.

Should Dallas bring him in, they would be asking defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli to work his motivational magic because this kid will likely need to be pushed. If that works, they could have a stud on their hands.
