The Arizona Cardinals finished with the NFL’s worst record in 2018. Are there a few other free-agent moves the franchise has in mind?

When the dust cleared in 2018 and, no team in the league won fewer games than the Arizona Cardinals. Let by first-time NFL head coach Steve Wilks, Big Red was far too embarrassing at times. Two of the team’s three victories came at the expense of the division-rival San Francisco 49ers, who finished 4-12 and own the second overall pick in April’s draft right after the Cards. And Wilks was one season and out as the club’s sideline leader.

Hence a new face at the helm in the form of Kliff Kingsbury. His reputation as an offensive mind is well-documented. And now he hopes to reverse the fortunes of a unit that was clearly the worst in the league this past season.

Of course, who winds up the Cardinals’ starting quarterback has been the subject of a lot of discussion this offseason. A year ago, general manager Steve Keim moved up in the first round to get UCLA’s Josh Rosen. Less than a year later, the 10th overall selection in the 2018 draft has been the subject of trade rumors.

The bottom line is that this team is on the clock and the name Kyle Murray continues to be in the mix. Elsewhere, the Cards have signed their share of free agents to date. But could the team make a few more moves over the next few weeks.

Let’s take a look at some potential targets in free agency that remain available.
