Round 4, Pick 128: Dawson Knox, TE, Ole Miss

There’s not a lot to go off of with Dawson Knox as he simply never got too involved in the Ole Miss offense. In 18 total games with the Rebels, Knox had just 39 career receptions for 605 yards and never scored a touchdown.

Still, Knox left despite having a year of eligibility and thinks he showed enough in college to get himself drafted. He had graduated as well, so decided it was time to go show what he can do.

"“I knew that I had enough on film to kind of show that I could compete against anybody; no matter who’s covering me, I can create separation. When they threw the ball to me, I caught it. I was able to get my blocking technique down to where I could move guys off the ball at any level, which was a big thing for me because coming in as a quarterback I had no idea how to actually move somebody.” — Knox said via Nick Suss from the Clarion Ledger."

Landing with the Cowboys could be a perfect scenario for Knox. It would allow him to work with Jason Witten and prepare to take over for the future Hall of Famer down the road. They have other young prospects on the roster, but Knox could prove to have the most upside.
