The Seattle Seahawks go into the 2019 NFL Draft with the 21st overall pick on their hands. Let’s see who will still be on the board at that point.

The Seattle Seahawks have the 21st overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, which means most of the top talent in the 2019 NFL Draft will be gone by their selection. However, there will still be plenty of plug-and-play prospects available, and Seattle has plenty of needs to fill.

The team hasn’t spent a lot of money in free agency in recent years, but there are also a lot of contracts coming up for Seattle. That makes the draft the best outlet for the team to add talent. This draft is one of the most talented in recent history and the Seahawks will land one of those talented prospects with the 21st pick.

Here are five players that will be available with the 21st pick and fit needs Seattle has.

Dalton Risner

The Seahawks already have an All-Pro left tackle in Duane Brown, but the right tackle situation is a different story. Germain Ifedi has been dominated there since he took over the position and Seattle should be looking for an option to replace him at this point.

If Seattle doesn’t pick up Ifedi’s fifth-year option — which they won’t — then Ifedi will be a free agent next offseason. It would be a little silly to draft a first round tackle to replace a first round tackle, but there’s no guarantee that the free agent tackle pool or draft will gift Seattle a starting tackle.

Dalton Risner gained plenty of experience at Kansas State and put up plenty of tape for scouts to review. Even as he is now, Risner is already a better right tackle than Ifedi.
