The Green Bay Packers have a ton of draft picks, but they still need to make sure they’re swinging on the right players rather than these guys.

The Green Bay Packers can drastically alter their future when they make their selections later this month in the 2019 NFL Draft. However, if they whiff on their picks, that future is going to get much darker before it ever gets brighter.

Every draft has those players that fans and analysts fall in love with despite them not having elite tape or production in college. The Packers have done a good job avoiding a lot of those players, but they are certainly not immune to a draft bust.

We all remember Quinten Rollins and Datone Jones oh so fondly. Under the guidance of general manager Brian Gutekunst, the Packers made a lot of great moves in the draft last year. With a glutton of draft picks, he’ll be looking to do it all over again. The team has three picks in the top 50 of the draft, and they can get three impact players with those selections. However, they have to know exactly who to avoid throughout the draft.

Every player could have a question mark because of injury, suspect athleticism or any other number of issues. Green Bay rarely grabs a player purely based on athleticism, unless they see him falling down the board where the value is too good to ignore.

For reasons we’ll get to, these players are three that the Packers need to avoid.
