With the New York Jets releasing their new uniforms, we look at five other teams who head into the 2019 NFL season in need of a change to their current look

In case you missed it, the New York Jets unveiled their new uniforms that they will be sporting ahead of the NFL 2019 Season. The reaction to the new threads was rather unanimous in that pretty much no one seemed to like them.

Even trying some fun names for the looks like “Gotham Green,” “Spotlight White,” and “Stealth Black” couldn’t save the Jets from their marketing disaster. Sure, the goal was to give fans three options to love with these looks but instead, it left them wondering who will sue for copyright infringement first — the Saskatchewan Roughriders, the North Texas Mean Green, or the Marshall Thundering Herd.

And let’s be honest, all three would have a case because the Jets look like them all now.

As bad as their change was, that doesn’t mean all teams should avoid making a move. In fact, there are several NFL teams that do need to do something about their look and these are the top-five teams in need of a change.

Honorable Mentions

Cleveland Browns

It could be argued that before the Jets introduced their new look, the Browns had the worst uniform in the NFL. The good news is, they’re already going to roll something new out in 2020. For that reason, they were left out of the top five. Hopefully, they do better than the Jets did.

Los Angeles Rams

The Rams had a great opportunity to return to their old school look when they moved to L.A. Instead, they put white stickers on a helmet and made it look like someone’s five-year-old son created a uniform in Madden.

Just like the Browns, they too have a new look in the works. Of course, theirs should be easy because they simply just need to go to their alternate blue and yellow full-time. Which means they probably won’t.
