Round 1, Pick 27: Chris Lindstrom, OL, Boston College

Kelechi Osemele and his massive contract is now gone to New York, and now the Raiders replace him with the Boston College hog molly Chris Lindstrom with the 27th pick in the draft. In a deep offensive line class, Lindstrom should be one of five or more to come off of the board in the first round as Oakland adds him to a line already consisting of Rodney Hudson, Brown and Kolton Miller.

Lindstrom is considered as maybe the toughest offensive lineman in this draft, consistently burying the defender across from him in the run game. For a line that struggled mightily in 2018, the Raiders have already shipped out Osemele and cut veteran right tackle Donald Penn, looking to continue to overhaul their offensive line and seek improvements.

Adding running back Isaiah Crowell who has averaged close to five yards per carry in two bad situations in his career should give a boost to the Raiders running game. Adding Lindstrom would make Crowell a very happy camper as he still seeks his first 1,000-yard season in his career. With their third and final pick in the first round, the Raiders add the tough interior offensive lineman Lindstrom to continue to bolster their offensive line.
