Round 7, Pick 237: Dre Greenlaw, LB, Arkansas

With their second selection in the seventh round and their last pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Raiders take Arkansas linebacker Dre Greenlaw to add to their depth at the second level of the defense. Greenlaw is a hot name right now after a killer pro day, but is there a chance that it could be too little, too late for him?

The 6-0, 237-pound SEC linebacker did not run any agility drills at the combine, but at his pro day he was clocked at 4.53 seconds on his 40-yard dash, which got the attention of scouts and general managers to say the least. At the combine, he posted a vertical and broad jump that ranked him in the 41st and 55th percentile respectively.

Greenlaw is not an off-the-charts athlete, but has the speed and size to play the linebacking position at the next level. After signing Marshall and Burfict last month, the Raiders are not in dire need of addressing the linebacker position in the draft.

But given that both of those deals were only one-year contracts, taking a chance on a strong and fast backer in need of some molding would be a solid option for Oakland with their last pick in the draft.
