Another full 7-round prediction of how the Dallas Cowboys will do in the 2019 NFL Draft with just over two weeks remaining before the big weekend

This may have been one of the more successful offseasons in recent memory for the Dallas Cowboys. It didn’t appear that way at first because they were missing out on targets and losing key players.

One loss was slot receiver Cole Beasley, who seemed to have soured on the front office near the end of his tenure. With free agency looming, Beasley made claims that the front office dictates who the coaches draw up plays for as he showed frustration with his lack of targets. Beasley was still offered a new deal by the team but took more money to play for the Buffalo Bills.

Dallas also missed out on a big target as they were unable to land safety Earl Thomas. For more than a year, the two were linked to one another but Thomas signed with Baltimore, leaving fans scratching their heads and wondering what happened.

Worse than anything else though, the Boys were at an impasse with DeMarcus Lawrence after hitting him with his second franchise tag. Their star pass rusher was unhappy an unsigned which made things look bleak.

Then Stephen Jones and Will McClay started making moves. They landed Randall Cobb to replace Beasley, traded for Robert Quinn to start at right defensive end and got their starting safety by landing George Iloka for a fraction of What Thomas wanted. Lastly, they ended the saga with Lawrence and actually got a deal that cost them less than expected.

With all that settled, they enter the 2019 NFL Draft in great shape. Knowing they can target the best players and not reach, we do our best to simulate how things will go when the Cowboys make their selections with this 7-round mock draft.
