The Green Bay Packers have a few holes to fill in the 2019 NFL Draft. Here, we rank their five biggest needs entering the draft.

The Green Bay Packers have plenty of reasons to be optimistic about the future. Provided they have a successful 2019 NFL Draft, the Packers could see themselves firmly atop the NFC once again, a la the New Orleans Saints in 2017.

That being said, Green Bay still has plenty of holes to fill through the draft. Even after a strong free agency period, which included the signings of edge defenders Za’Darius Smith and Preston Smith, a versatile offensive lineman in Billy Turner and a reliable safety in Adrian Amos, the Packers have their hands full entering the draft.

The Packers have 10 selections in this year’s draft. Here’s a full breakdown of Green Bay’s selections:

Round 1, Pick 12
Round 1, Pick 30 (from New Orleans)
Round 2, Pick 44
Round 3, Pick 75
Round 4, Pick 114
Round 4, Pick 118 (from Washington)
Round 5, Pick 150
Round 6, Pick 185
Round 6, Pick 194 (from Seattle)
Round 7, Pick 226

If you’ve seen any mock drafts involving the Packers, you’ve likely observed a multitude of positions being projected at pick No. 12. Anyone from defensive lineman Ed Oliver to tight end T.J Hockenson to pass rusher Brian Burns have been popular selections. This suggest the Packers don’t necessarily have one particular glaring need.

Of course, we have no idea who the Packers may be targeting at the top of their big board. But looking at their current roster suggests Green Bay may be inclined to go with the best player available when their time comes on April 25.

By looking at their roster, we can at least get an idea of which positions they may be targeting based on lack of depth at said positions. So without further ado, here’s a list of Green Bay’s top five biggest needs entering the 2019 NFL Draft.
