9. Ramsay Bolton, SS, The Dreadfort

First thing out of the gate, we need to address the character concerns that are present with Ramsay Bolton. By the measure of most Game of Thrones fans, he’s a bonafide psychopath that is wholly irredeemable. And considering his penchant for torture, cruelty and generally just being a bad dude, those are all viable concerns. However, with the right coaching, Ramsay has real potential as a versatile box safety.

An underrated athlete and fighter, Bolton (formerly Snow) has the ability to affect the game in multiple areas on the back end of the defense. Moreover, he has a throwback mentality when channeled properly, using his psychopathic behaviors to not punish Theon Greyjoy, but rather to punish offensive players coming over the middle of the field. If he goes to the right situation where he can, you know, stop flaying people, Bolton has upside that can’t be ignored.

10. Gendry, RB, Flea Bottom

A small-school product from Flea Bottom, Gendry — the son of Robert Baratheon — came onto the scene early, but really didn’t have a lot to show. He was largely just pulled around while training the background before fading off into the sea, rowing his boat for god knows how long. But now that he’s back in the fold on Game of Thrones, it’s clear that he has promise as a running back.

Evidenced by his run from north of The Wall all the way to Eastwatch by the Sea, Gendry is the type of back that’s never going to tire. You’re going to get the same speed, burst and effort out of him on touch No. 20 that you did on his first tote. And while running back is becoming increasingly less valuable in the modern NFL, he’s a compactly built, sturdy-framed prospect that can still contribute at a high level.
