What team doesn’t like stockpile picks for the 2019 NFL Draft? There’s not a team that doesn’t want to trade down and very few that want to trade up.

The 2019 NFL Draft is just weeks away and things will undoubtedly get chaotic. After all, the Arizona Cardinals are expected to take a quarterback in the first round in back to back drafts. Once the deed is done, the tone will be set.

A number of teams will look to move down the draft board to stockpile picks, but only a few will look to move up. There are a few teams that should definitely consider trading up to get their guy.

Here are five candidates to trade up in the 2019 NFL Draft.

5. Green Bay Packers

With the way the draft is shaping up, we aren’t going to get three quarterbacks drafted inside the top 10. And, with NFL teams wanting and/or needing to get after the quarterbacks defensively, pass rushers will come off the board fast. So, if the Packers want to add an elite pass rusher, they’ll have to trade up.

Every team inside the top 10 could use a pass rusher. Right behind them are the Miami Dolphins, who are in desperate need of everything. After Josh Allen comes off the board it’ll become a feeding frenzy for edge rushers.

The Packers will have to move up to snag one with elite traits. Whether it’s Montez Sweat or Brian Burns, the Packers should trade up to grab either one of them. With two first round picks, they have the leverage to do it. It shouldn’t take much for them to move up from No. 12 inside the top 10.
