There is plenty of speculation concerning the Arizona Cardinals in the upcoming 2019 NFL Draft. Here is more fuel to add to the speculation fire.

The 2018 season was a total disaster for the Arizona Cardinals. Once again, the Cardinals will have a new head coach and staff. However, having the first overall selection in the 2019 NFL Draft helps in the rebuilding effort.

Many media pundits have Arizona selecting Kyler Murray as the first pick. Why? Because new head coach Kliff Kingsbury complimented Murray’s ability to play quarterback last fall. Remember, though, they still have Josh Rosen on their roster.

It is entirely possible that the Cardinals trade down to select a lineman or wide receiver. They have a huge need to fill at tight end. This draft has several that could immediately add to the Redbirds passing attack.

Would the NFL faithful be stunned if Arizona selects an edge rusher with the first pick? The Cardinals are moving to a 3-4 defensive front this season. They could use a younger version of Terrell Suggs for the future.

Linemen are always needed due to injuries that occur throughout the season. Arizona’s offensive line was decimated by injuries in 2018. There are some very talented linemen in this draft, but would Arizona take one at No. 1?

You can just imagine that the Cardinals are having trade offers thrown at them. Will they make a trade or make the selection? Here’s a look.
