Round 4, Pick 105: Miles Boykin, WR, Notre Dame

This pick remains constant from the last mock draft for the Jets that this writer did as Miles Boykin remains one of the most intriguing prospects in this year’s draft class. Here in the fourth round, the Jets add him to pair with Robby Anderson, assuming he signs his tender, outside of the numbers for Darnold.

Boykin was non-existent at Notre Dame until 2018, and even though his numbers took a jump, nobody knew his name until the combine. He finished his senior season with 59 catches for 872 yards and eight touchdowns for the Fighting Irish.

At the combine Boykin measured in at nearly 6-4 and 220 pounds; his size did not stop him from jumping out of Lucas Oil Stadium, posting a 43.5-inch vertical jump and nearly a 12-foot broad jump. And to put a cherry on top, Boykin coasted to a 4.42-second 40-yard dash and a blazing 6.77-second 3-cone drill.

Adding another dynamic weapon to the Jets offense with Bell, Anderson, Jamison Crowder, and Chris Herndon would round out a solid corp of weapons for Darnold to play around with in 2019. With the 105th pick in the draft, the Jets have a chance to land the steal of the entire class in Boykin.
