Between Kenyan Drake and Kalen Ballage, the Miami Dolphins have a couple of talented running backs on the roster. Both players have some nice upside, but neither are surefire starting backs going forward. If nothing else, the Dolphins would be wise to take a shot at some running back depth late in this draft.

Alexander Mattison is a talented running back prospect who has a nice, well-rounded skill set. He shows good patience and ball carrier vision, has solid short area quickness and elusiveness in the open field, and always finishes his runs with power. His balance is also awfully impressive, helping him have a lot of success as a short yardage runner.

He is not the most dynamic back in the passing game, but Mattison displays solid hands and can create after the catch. He is also a perfectly capable pass protector. Mattison is a balanced running back who has some nice upside at the next level. He could really be a hidden gem late in the draft.

With their final pick of this mock draft, the Dolphins add another intriguing offensive lineman to the mix. Paul Adams displayed good play strength in college, primarily winning with power both in the run game and in pass protection. He shows adequate mobility and a powerful punch.

Adams played exclusively right tackle at Mizzou and may be able to handle the position at the next level. However, his skills appear to translate nicely to the inside if needed. Whether he plays tackle or on the interior, Adams has legitimate starter upside in a power-based scheme. Not a bad find in the seventh round.
