Original Pick: Aaron Donald, DT, Pittsburgh Panthers

Flipping their priorities in this draft, the Rams take Aaron Donald with the No. 2 overall pick, then an offensive tackle with their second selection here with the No. 13 overall pick in the draft.

Again, Greg Robinson was a colossal failure for St. Louis and may just now be on the right track with the Cleveland Browns. Here, the Rams take a tackle who was originally taken in the seventh round by the Chicago Bears in Charles Leno.

Leno is looking at a huge pay raise on his rookie contract by making the six-round jump in this re-draft, and the Rams get a tackle that has proven to be everything they hoped Robinson would become.

Leno has made the Pro Bowl one time in his career. That Pro Bowl season came in 2018, but he has been the full-time blindside blocker over the last four years with the Bears. He has started 62 games total over that span.

Heading into the last year of his deal, the Bears and Leno agreed to a four-year and $37 million extension through the 2022 season. For a former seventh-round pick, Leno has now secured over $13.5 million when signing his new contract and over $21.5 million in guaranteed money. The Rams would take Leno with the No. 13 pick in the draft in a heartbeat, if given the opportunity.
