3. Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles are an aging team, but it still feels like they are a couple of players away from going back to the Super Bowl. Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has a type when it comes to early round targets. Two of his premium positions of need are on offense, specifically at tackle. Oklahoma’s Cody Ford is the type of athletic tackle ideally suited for the Eagles. He could act as an upgrade at the guard spot or take over for Jason Peters.

If they want to become a scary offense, they can add a receiver. Yes, they signed DeSean Jackson, but he’ll turn 33 during the 2019 season. Plus, the front office actively shopped Nelson Agholor and he’s a free agent in 2020.

Therefore, taking a wide receiver isn’t out of the question and could have an impact at some point during the season. A.J. Brown is a great fit as someone who can play in the slot and outside. Speed was a missing factor on offense and Oklahoma’s Marquise “Hollywood” Brown makes for a dynamic option

The impact of a pass rusher can’t be overstated, either. One of the reasons the Eagles won the title was the play of the defensive line. Adding a pass rusher like Rashan Gary or Clelin Ferrell to the rotation would help their defense.

In whatever case, it’s obvious the Eagles need some youth. If they get the right guys, they could dominate the NFC East.
