Round 6, Pick 207 (via Cardinals): Mitch Hyatt, OT, Clemson

Alejandro Villanueva is penciled in as the starting left tackle and the Steelers hope 2018 third-round pick Chukwuma Okorafor can eventually move into the right tackle role. Taking Mitch Hyatt at No. 207 here has nothing to do with either of those players but is just about adding more talent to the position.

Hyatt started the past four seasons at Clemson and had incredible technique. He may not jump out on tape with his power but he understands his job well enough to find a home in the NFL as a swing tackle.

Round 7, Pick 219: Jazz Ferguson, WR, Northwestern State

Originally a member of LSU, Jazz Ferguson had a rough start to his career. He was suspended in 2016 after reportedly failing drug tests and then he had problems with maintaining his grades. Eventually, he moved to Northwestern State and played there in 2018 and was incredible for the Demons, albeit against a lower level of competition.

One thing that stands out with Ferguson is his enormous size. He’s listed at 6-4 and 223 pounds, but he’s more than just a big body. Ferguson can move and is also very aggressive at the point of attack. If he can prove that his issues are in the past, Ferguson could be a late-round gem.
