The Jacksonville Jaguars decide to conduct a safe traditional 2019 NFL Draft according to need in this final 7-round mock draft.

After the 2018 season ended, many thought that the Jacksonville Jaguars would select a quarterback in the first round. Instead, Nick Foles was signed and Blake Bortles was released. Foles is the reason that the Jaguars can conduct a more safe and traditional 2019 NFL Draft.

Since the 2013 NFL Draft, the Jaguars have drafted six offensive linemen. Four of them are currently on the Jaguars roster. They have signed six free agent linemen in the past several weeks. It’s highly unlikely that the Jaguars take a lineman on either side of the ball in the first round. Remember they selected Taven Bryan in the first round last year. There are 10 defensive linemen on the Jaguars roster.

At this point, Jacksonville can look to other positions to upgrade. However, since the Jaguars have the seventh overall pick, they will need to select a top 10 talent and a franchise-changing player. Once upon a time, cornerback Jalen Ramsey was that kind of draft pick.

Jacksonville has to carefully evaluate this 2019 draft class to find the best pick at No. 7 overall. Hopefully, they will recognize the value of the elite player on his rookie contract. There is an elite player that will fall into the Jaguars draft spot.

Here is the player that the Jaguars select at number seven.
