The Oakland Raiders could start the 2019 NFL Draft with a surprise pick at No. 4 overall. Who are the potential options?

We’re days away from the 2019 NFL Draft, and rumors will dominate the headlines before teams make their selections. The Oakland Raiders are one of the most intriguing clubs going into Thursday — with three first-round picks — and there’s widespread speculation pertaining to their potential targets.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Raiders could shock everyone with a surprise selection in the fourth spot. Rapoport suggests the Raiders may have sent their scouts home for the remainder of the pre-draft process to protect the secrecy surrounding the No. 4 overall pick. He tossed out a few names, including linebacker Devin White, as well as quarterbacks Dwayne Haskins and Kyler Murray.

According to Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller, a league executive implied Oakland may consider White with its first selection.

"“A highly connected personnel executive hinted the Raiders could still select White at No. 4 overall, but that [Quinnen] Williams was the more coveted of the two. That’s where the smart money is right now.”"

Maybe it’s all one huge smokescreen, but White shouldn’t surprise the Raiders fanbase. Still, an off-ball linebacker may raise eyebrows. The front office signed Vontaze Burfict and Brandon Marshall to one-year placeholder deals. The LSU linebacker would become the defensive centerpiece for the long term.

We’ll dig into three potential surprises at No. 4 with reasons for each selection. How could the Raiders make a huge splash Thursday?
