The clock is winding down towards the 2019 NFL Draft. Here is the final seven-round mock draft for the Arizona Cardinals, who hold the No. 1 pick.

In a few short days, the mystery will be revealed concerning the first overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Josh Rosen’s future as an Arizona Cardinals quarterback will be determined. Currently, the Cardinals have 10 selection, but will they receive more by trading the first pick or not?

Rosen has been traded away by many media pundits since Kliff Kingsbury was hired as the new head coach. Despite all the trade predictions and rumors, Kingsbury still talks highly of Rosen. Remember, Arizona moved up in the first round to draft Rosen just last year.

The Cardinals have added quality depth through free agency on both sides of the ball. Terrell Suggs is a huge addition to the defense. Brett Hundley signed to become Rosen’s backup. The Redbirds now will continue the team re-build through this draft. Arizona’s last playoff appearance was in 2015. Under Bruce Arians, Arizona went to the playoffs in two consecutive seasons beginning in 2014.

Arizona plays in the tough NFC West division. Their divisional rivals are chasing their own Super Bowl dreams. The best way to consistently win is through the draft. Most of all, being able to evaluate talent is very critical to the success of Arizona.

Sometimes the obvious choice is staring right at you. Let’s see what Arizona does with the first overall selection.
