1. Use one of their first rounders on Josh Jacobs

Thanks to some surprising moves last season that resulted in trading both Khalil Mack (Chicago Bears) and Amari Cooper (Dallas Cowboys), the Raiders find themselves with three picks in the first round for Thursday night.

Words can’t even describe how much of an advantage this gives Oakland when looking at all of the top prospects from this year’s draft class, especially at No. 4 to help fill one of their top needs early on.

Of course, since no running backs from this year’s class are worthy of going that high in the first round, if the Raiders do end up using one of their picks on a running back, it would most likely come at No. 24 or No. 27.

That’s where Josh Jacobs could come into play, as many believe the Alabama star will be the first player selected at his position in the draft, and rightfully so after an impressive career with the Crimson Tide.

The 640 rushing yards last season may not stand out like some of the other running backs hoping to get selected this weekend, but also keep in mind that Jacobs was part of an offense in which multiple running backs were used.
