On draft day, it’s the perfect time for a final seven-round mock draft to show who the Cincinnati Bengals may decide to add in the 2019 NFL Draft.

The 2019 NFL Draft is here, everybody! Now is the time where every team is at the peak of their offseason hopes and dreams, with the opportunity to add numerous players who can be integral parts of their franchise’s successes to come. The Cincinnati Bengals will certainly be hoping this year’s draft brings them good fortune.

They are in the first year of new head coach Zac Taylor’s tenure — their first time entering a draft without former head honcho Marvin Lewis at the helm since 2002. This is Taylor’s first chance to add the necessary young talent and future building blocks needed to get Cincinnati out of their recent doldrums and back into the playoffs (and more importantly, the championship contention Lewis could never bring to fruition).

With that in mind, the Bengals have a great opportunity to bring in a ton of value from this draft. Cincinnati has 11 total selections to work with: their original picks in every round, and four extra sixth round selections (three compensatory selections and one from a prior trade with Dallas).

They have an endless array of possibilities with all these selections, so let’s have some preparatory fun with a seven-round mock draft.

With the help of Fanspeak.com’s On The Clock mock draft simulator, I’ll be taking a quick dive into who Cincinnati will select with each of their current picks, basing my selections off a combination of Cincinnati’s roster needs, which draft-able players could still be on the board and the talent of those players who could potentially be selected.

As with essentially every mock draft, bear in mind that at the end of the day there’s a high likelihood these particular selections are not the ones made for whatever reason (they were already selected before Cincinnati can do so, the Bengals weren’t actually interested in them, etc), but at the very least we should have a better idea of what this team needs and the sort of players they may target with their near-dozen selections.

Without further ado, let’s jump right in.
