Have the Tennessee Titans done enough this offseason to make themselves a better team, or are there some veterans on the market who could help?

Mike Vrabel is in the midst of preparing for his second seasons as the head coach of the Tennessee Titans. This past year, his debut campaign resulted in a 9-7 finish — as was the case for this club the previous two seasons. But unlike 2017, the team failed to qualify for the playoffs in 2018.

This is a franchise that hasn’t won a division title since 2008. And while the Titans have come a long way since winning a combined five games from 2014-15, the organization has struggled in terms of taking the next step.

So what has this team done this offseason in hopes of unseating the AFC South champion Houston Texans and pushing the improving Indianapolis Colts, both of whom reached the playoffs in 2018? General manager Jon Robinson did not make a lot of moves this offseason but a few were notable.

These moves included the acquisition of quarterback Ryan Tannehill from the Miami Dolphins via trade. The Tennessee attack, now under the control of former tight ends coach/turned new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, will benefit from the additions of veteran blocker Rodger Saffold (Los Angeles Rams) and wide receiver Adam Humphries (Tampa Bay Buccaneers).

Meanwhile, defensive coordinator Dean Pees also gets a little help for his pass rush in the form of Cameron Wake as outside linebackers Brian Orakpo and Derrick Morgan are no longer with the team for different reasons.

For now, the focus is on the draft. But could the Titans add three more veterans over the next few weeks? Here are a few ideas.
