20. Denver Broncos: Noah Fant, TE, Iowa

Grade: A-

It is hard to not like what the Denver Broncos did in the first round of this draft. Trading back from 10 to 20, they picked up an extra second-round selection this year and a third-round pick for 2020. When they went on the clock at 20, the Broncos added an exciting offensive playmaker to the mix in Iowa tight end Noah Fant.

Fant is a physical freak at the tight end position, showing impressive natural speed and quickness in open space. He stretches the middle of the field extremely well and has some elusiveness with the ball in his hands. Fant is also a big receiver who shows strong jump ball skills and can win in most 1v1 situations. He is a true matchup nightmare, proving to be too big for most defensive backs to cover and too fast for most linebackers.

Fant is not as good of a blocker as Hockenson, his teammate at Iowa, but I think he is a bit underrated in this department. He is a willing run blocker who can get some push at the point of attack and moves his feet well. If he can clean up his technique a bit at the next level, run blocking will become a strength in his game.

Joe Flacco loves throwing to the tight end position and the Broncos give him an exciting weapon here at number 20.
