51. Tennessee Titans: Hakeem Butler, WR, Iowa State

The team hosting the draft needs to hit on this pick after selecting a potential redshirt in the first. Defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons tore his ACL while training for the draft and may not play at all. Still, Tennessee took a shot on him with their first-round pick knowing they got a star player when he does return.

With the 51st pick, the host city grabs Hakeem Butler from Iowa State. This is a player who has immense potential and is as long as they come. He made highlight reel catches on the regular for the Cyclones but is far from a complete prospect. It may take a season or two of working with him, but Butler could open up the entire offense.

52. Denver Broncos (via Pittsburgh Steelers): Darryl Williams, OG, Mississippi State

The Broncos added this pick, as well as a third rounder next season, in a deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers. For Pittsburgh, it was all about solidifying the linebacker corps but for the Broncos it was all about getting out of the funk they’ve been in the past couple of seasons.

Their team hasn’t been bad, but they have been falling short and now add another potential starter here in Darryl Williams — who will help block for Joe Flacco now and potentially Drew Lock if the earlier Denver prediction holds true.
