2019 NFL Draft: Day 2 mock draft after completing first round
By Randy Gurzi
65. Arizona Cardinals: Zach Allen, DT, Boston College
The third round kicks off with the Cardinals on the clock again and this time they address the defensive side of the ball by grabbing Zach Allen out of Boston College. He’s a run stuffer who can also generate pressure while playing end or tackle. Solid all-around pick.
66. Pittsburgh Steelers (via Oakland Raiders): Darrell Henderson, RB, Memphis
Le’Veon Bell is gone and James Conner filled in nicely. Still, the Steelers would be wise to add some depth. Darrell Henderson offers a player capable of making some big plays in a committee with Conner.
67. San Francisco 49ers: Amani Oruwariye, CB, Penn State
Richard Sherman is a solid veteran option at corner but the Niners need some youth to work alongside him. They add that here with Amani Oruwariye. This season’s cornerback class has been less than impressive, but Oruwariye is one of the players who seems to have the potential to be a starter for many years.
68. New York Jets: Miles Boykin, WR, Notre Dame
This past season, Miles Boykin started to come on strong for the Fighting Irish. He hauled in 59 receptions for 872 yards and eight scores. He doesn’t have the gaudy numbers that some of the other wideouts do, but he comes in at 6-4 and ran a 4.42-second 40.
