73. New England Patriots (via Detroit Lions): Deionte Thompson, S, Alabama

Both starting safeties for the New England Patriots are over 30 years of age. With that in mind, they add some youth to the position in Deionte Thompson from Alabama. Thompson is one of the top prospects and may have gone higher had he been on the field more to start his career. He broke out in 2018 and is trending up.

74. Buffalo Bills: Max Scharping, OT, Northern Illinois

The Bills get Josh Allen a good offensive lineman here in Max Scharping. Many people still aren’t sold on him as the starter for the future but the Bills are determined to make it work. They’ve added him plenty of weapons and Max Scharping will help give him the time to find those weapons.

75. Green Bay Packers: Chase Winovich, EDGE, Michigan

Rashan Gary and Chase Winovich were great together for the Wolverines, so why not pair them back up? The Packers do just that as they bring in another edge player here. In their 3-4 defense, Gary could potentially move up to the end position and Winovich has the ability to develop into a starter as an outside linebacker.

76. Washington Redskins: Trayvon Mullen, CB, Clemson

Washington continues their excellent draft (that feels weird to say) by picking up Trayvon Mullen. He’s another player with the length to cause issues for receivers but he does need to work on not getting so grabby with his hands while in coverage. That could lead to some unwanted laundry on the field.
