85. Baltimore Ravens: Jaquan Johnson, S, Miami (FL)

Earl Thomas was a good pick up for the Ravens in the offseason and they add another safety to work with him in the secondary here in Jaquan Johnson. He’s slightly undersized but has no problem delivering the tough hits.

86. Houston Texans: Jace Sternberger, TE, Texas A&M

The Texans keep Jace Sternberger in state as the Texas A&M product comes off the board at No. 86. He had a sensational final season with the Aggies and could really open up the Texans offense by giving them a legitimate pass-catching threat at the tight end position.

87. Chicago Bears: Anthony Nelson, DE, Iowa

It took until pick No. 87, but the Chicago Bears are finally on the clock. They use that selection on defensive end Anthony Nelson out of Iowa. The Bears were a vastly improved team last season thanks to their defense — and the addition of edge rusher Khalil Mack. Now, they add more to that side of the ball by getting a player who can slow down both the run and the pass.

88. Detroit Lions (via Philadelphia Eagles): Tyree Jackson, QB, Buffalo

Questions about Matthew Stafford‘s future continually pop up year after year. The Lions light a fire under him with this selection. Tyree Jackson has flown up draft boards and is an interesting prospect giving his size and arm strength.
