Green Bay Packers: Grades for every 2019 NFL Draft pick

The Green Bay Packers selected eight players during the 2019 NFL Draft. Here we give grades for each selection.
Entering the 2019 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers had a few key needs. General manager Brian Gutekunst wasn’t shy about selecting players he believed best suited their needs, especially in the first round.
That said, giving grades for each selection will undoubtedly vary depending on who you ask.
Here’s a quick recap of who the Packers selected in this year’s draft:
Round 1, Pick 12: Rashan Gary, EDGE, Michigan
Round 1, Pick 21: Darnell Savage Jr., S, Maryland
Round 2, Pick 44: Elgton Jenkins, OL, Mississippi State
Round 3, Pick 75: Jace Sternberger, TE, Texas A&M
Round 5, Pick 150: Kingsley Keke, DL, Texas A&M
Round 6, Pick 185: Ka’dar Hollman, CB, Toledo
Round 6, Pick 194: Dexter Williams, RB, Notre Dame
Round 7, Pick 226: Ty Summers, ILB, TCU
The Packers 2019 draft class appears to be extremely versatile in terms of positional value. Rashan Gary, Darnell Savage, Elgton Jenkins and Kingsley Keke all have shown the ability to play multiple positions. Additionally, Green Bay clearly valued the need for athleticism in their draft picks. Each player posted exceptional numbers at the NFL Combine and their respective pro days.
This year’s draft class legitimately appears to be one of the best classes the Packers have had in a while. Green Bay fans should be extremely excited about the potential of this year’s group. In fact, several anonymous league sources have named the Packers as one of the teams that have had an excellent draft.
So there it is. The 2019 NFL Draft has officially came and went. It’s up to the coaches and players to show it on the field now.
