19. Houston Texans: Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson

Maybe offensive line would again make sense for the Houston Texans, but after hefty investments there in 2019, that feels unlikely. Instead, they get another weapon in this class at running back with my RB1, Travis Etienne. The Clemson standout is a big play waiting to happen with tremendous versatility, burst, vision and everything you’d want in a modern back.

20. Pittsburgh Steelers: Xavier McKinney, S, Alabama

Safety remains a concern for the Pittsburgh Steelers as Sean Davis and 2018 first-round reach Terrell Edmunds patrol the back end. Thus, they look to Xavier McKinney here. While Deionte Thompson got a lot of pub, McKinney was the better safety at Bama in 2018, registering 74 total tackles (six for loss), three sacks, two interceptions and 10 passes defensed.

21. Tennessee Titans: Bryce Hall, CB, Virginia

Shout-out to The Draft Network for turning me on to Bryce Hall, but this guy can flat out play. With good size and length, he could’ve been CB1 in the 2019 class had he come out. Now, he lands with the Tennessee Titans in this mock draft. Logan Ryan‘s contract is up after this coming season, meaning they could look to both fill a hole and upgrade, which Hall can be for them.

22. Philadelphia Eagles: Paddy Fisher, LB, Northwestern

Whether or not the Philadelphia Eagles needed to address linebacker in the 2019 draft was a divisive topic, but they ultimately chose to not do so in a meaningful capacity. They do in the 2020 NFL Draft, though, taking Paddy Fisher out of Northwestern. Fisher had some growing pains last year after getting some preseason hype, but the instincts and solid athletic traits make him enticing.

23. Green Bay Packers: Henry Ruggs III, WR, Alabama

The Green Bay Packers had a solid 2019 draft, but the fact remains that they, at some point, do need to work on getting more weapons for Aaron Rodgers to work with in the offense. That’s what Henry Ruggs III can be for them. He’ll get pigeon-holed as a speed-only guy, but he’s far more than that and has unbelievable speed to work with on the outside and make big plays.

24. Cleveland Browns: Tommy Kramer, OL, Notre Dame

All of a sudden, the Cleveland Browns look like a legitimate roster, one that can seriously contend sooner rather than later. That being said, they do still need to make upgrades up front on the offensive line and Tommy Kramer out of Notre Dame can do that. With versatility to move at different spots, Kramer is a gem in this class that can help out the Browns or any team that takes him in the 2020 NFL Draft.

25. Los Angeles Chargers: Shaq Quarterman, LB, Miami (FL)

Not many really seem to notice, but the Los Angeles Chargers roster right now is darn impressive. If there’s one area they need to upgrade though, it’s linebacker. That group could use some youth and they look to do that here with Shaq Quarterman out of Miami. With 80 total tackles in all three seasons at Miami, including 14 for loss last season, he’s a flying missile in the middle of the field that could be great in LA.
