26. Dallas Cowboys: Albert Okwuegbunam, TE, Missouri

Jerry and Stephen Jones put together an odd 2019 draft without a first-round pick, one many probably didn’t see coming. What’s clear, though, is that the future at tight end is still something that should be addressed. Subsequently, they do that with Albert Okwuegbunam out of Mizzou. With 17 touchdowns over the last two seasons (18) games, Albert O could be a stud in the Dallas offense, one at a position they simply must address.

27. Indianapolis Colts: Tyler Biadasz, IOL, Wisconsin

With the roster that the Indianapolis Colts are building, it was hard to find a glaring need to fill here. However, with Ryan Kelly‘s injury history at center and potential to upgrade at guard opposite Quenton Nelson, we went with Tyler Biadasz out of Wisconsin. He’s a mauler up front with experience that will only grow and he should be a Day 1 starter wherever he’s drafted.

28. New Orleans Saints: Jaylon Johnson, CB, Utah

Jaylon Johnson registered four interceptions last season for the Utah Utes, which has people starting to buzz about him for this 2020 NFL Draft. With solid enough size at 6-0, 190 pounds, the Utah product is also a good tackler and his stock will only rise throughout 2019. New Orleans could use upgrades around Marshon Lattimore and they find one in Johnson.

29. Kansas City Chiefs: D’Andre Swift, RB, Georgia

Some people may indeed say that Jonathan Taylor is the first or second best running back in the 2020 NFL Draft class, and I’m not totally arguing. However, looking at the need for the Kansas City Chiefs and what they like to do, D’Andre Swift is another elite prospect that is a better fit. With great athleticism and power to go with it, he can be a dynamic player that Andy Reid would love to pair with Patrick Mahomes.

30. Los Angeles Rams: Curtis Weaver, EDGE, Boise State

It’s still hard to feel confident in the Los Angeles Rams situation at edge rusher moving forward, so it would make sense for them to address that in the 2020 NFL Draft, which they do in this mock draft. Curtis Weaver has 20.5 sacks in two seasons off the edge for Boise State, along with 28 tackles for loss. He’s a monster in the Mountain West and, if he can produce at that level and test well, he’ll be a first-rounder.

31. Oakland Raiders (via Bears): Isaiah Simmons, S, Clemson

A lightweight safety/linebacker hybrid for Clemson, Isaiah Simmons broke out last year with the Tigers, notching 88 total tackles, nine tackles for loss, two sacks, an interception and six passes defensed. We saw Jon Gruden and the Raiders’ love for the toughness of Clemson, so I don’t think that stops in 2020 as they add an interesting chess piece that could potentially do a lot of things for them on defense.

32. New England Patriots: Grant Calcaterra, TE, Oklahoma

Everyone thinking the New England Patriots would immediately try to replace Rob Gronkowski was wrong. In the 2020 NFL Draft, though, that may no longer be the case with Grant Calcaterra on the board. At 6-4, 221 pounds, he can add muscle, but he’s a physically dominant player with his athleticism that should have a breakout season in 2019 with the Sooners.
