12. Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Redskins

In what can best be described as an underrated rivalry in the NFL, football fans don’t always appreciate the history between the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins when they get to face one another twice each season.

Similar to a few other rivalries already discussed, these two teams first met all the way back during the 1960 season. While the Redskins have seen their fair share of victories, the Cowboys have been the clear winner overall in this series.

With that being said, this rivalry has all sorts of potential to live up to the hype heading into the 2019 season. Dallas is coming off its second NFC East title in three seasons, while Washington added numerous key players in the offseason.

Landon Collins will easily make a huge difference on the defensive side of the football for the Redskins after coming over from the New York Giants. Washington will need Collins to come up big for them, since Dallas is loaded with all sorts of talent on offense led by Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott.

Last year’s 31-23 win on Thanksgiving by the Cowboys is just one of many examples behind the greatness this rivalry holds. Even though Washington appears to be at a disadvantage due to the questions on offense, the Cowboys know they can’t take a light approach.
