30 greatest NFL team rivalries of all-time

9. Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New England Patriots
When the time comes for Ben Roethlisberger and Tom Brady to hang up the spikes, there’s no question it will only be a matter of time before both quarterbacks earn a spot in Canton for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Year after year, the Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots are always viewed as two of the early favorites in the AFC to make a run at the Super Bowl.
And even though the Steelers missed out on the playoffs last season, along with the adjustments from the last few months such as losing Antonio Brown, expect Pittsburgh to contend once again in 2019.
After Pittsburgh was able to pull off the impressive win over New England late last season, the defending Super Bowl champions will be looking for revenge early on in September when they face one another right away in Week 1.
Knowing “Big Ben” and Brady, this will turn out to be one of the best games from Week 1 with the potential of being the first of two meetings if a second game takes place come January when it matters the most.
Then again, whether that has any shot of happening will come down to how the Steelers look. Hopefully they can bounce back after last year.
