2. Lock could develop faster with rookie experience

For the last three seasons, as mentioned before, it’s been a struggle for the Broncos when it comes to trying to find that next quarterback to build the franchise around, and one can only imagine how the defense has been feeling.

Even last season, there was excitement over the signing of Keenum that Denver’s offense would finally get on track to help take the pressure off the defense, which wasn’t the case at all.

Only time will tell when it comes to determining whether Lock turns out to be the answer that Denver has patiently been waiting for, but at least there’s hope surrounding the rookie.

Deep down, the Broncos know they may need to be a little extra patient with Lock since the transition to the NFL can sometimes be difficult, but also they could easily speed up this process by having him play right away.

The thought of Flacco making all of that ridiculous money to just sit on the bench while Lock starts sounds crazy to even think about, but it happens more often than football fans realize.

In the long run, this would only help Lock get close to the level that Denver needs him to be on in order to finally become a serious contender again in the AFC.
