3. Moving on from Manning overdue

With all due respect to Manning since there have been times throughout his career in which he looked like a top quarterback in the league, and winning two Super Bowls didn’t happen on accident, but all good things come to an end at some point.

Even if the argument can be made that New York hasn’t exactly done the best job in recent years providing him with the necessary protection, a strong case can be made that New York moving from Manning is a process that is long overdue.

Take a look at how Manning has only recorded one winning season over the last six years, and it’s easy to understand why there’s been so much talk over the years about whether the Giants should move on.

Sure, there were some impressive numbers at times such as the 65 touchdown passes from 2014-15, but also wins are what matters the most in the NFL, and Manning only won 12 combined games during those two seasons.

Once again, as mentioned before, Manning certainly doesn’t deserve all of the blame, but also a fresh start with a new quarterback could be the best option, which is why it was great to see them select Jones in the draft.
