WR. Ohio State. 46. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Parris Campbell. 59. player

Indianapolis Colts general manager Chris Ballard has done a fantastic job turning his team around in a very short time. After Ryan Grigson tore things to the ground, Ballard was given a tough task in 2018.

That became more difficult when Josh McDaniels spurned them after agreeing to be the head coach. They rebounded nicely with Frank Reich, who guided the team out of a 1-5 start en route to an AFC South title.

The return of Andrew Luck had plenty to do with the team’s success. He made the offense go, despite not having the weapons he truly needed. Outside of T.Y. Hilton and Eric Ebron, they were very limited. That shouldn’t be the case any longer, as the Colts got a great weapon with the No. 59 overall pick in Parris Campbell.

A running back who converted to wide receiver, Campbell has done a great job in changing positions and each season he seems a little more comfortable in his role. In 2018, he had his best campaign by far.

Campbell ended up with 90 receptions for 1,063 yards and 12 touchdowns. All those numbers were more than his career totals entering the season. They show just how far he has come as a player.

The Colts are suddenly the favorites in their division, which is impressive. They were a team that struggled on both sides of the line of scrimmage, but Ballard has done well at shoring that up, while still finding weapons to help Luck continue to put points on the board.
