3. Numbers at Ohio State

Like most quarterbacks selected in the first round, Haskins has a few concerns over whether he has what it takes to be successful at the NFL level, but one that stands out the most is the fact that he only had one full season as the starter for the Buckeyes.

One year obviously doesn’t determine what kind of success a player will have in the NFL, but ridiculous doesn’t even begin to describe the numbers Haskins put up in 2018 at Ohio State by nearly throwing for 5,000 yards (4,831) to go along with 50 touchdown passes.

Even more impressive, Haskins only throwing eight interceptions shows the kind of decision making he brings to the table, and while the defenders in the NFL will be on a completely different level than college, it still shows potential.

If Haskins was able to put up these kinds of numbers in 2018 with little experience, just imagine what he could accomplish if he gets better each season.

Haskins isn’t going to put up those numbers as a rookie since, as mentioned before, the NFL is a whole new kind of game compared to college, but in good time, this shows what he’s capable of in the right offense.
