The Washington Redskins had an exciting 2019 NFL Draft. How exactly does each pick stack up though? Here are the final grades.

The Washington Redskins definitely filled some needs with the 2019 NFL Draft. They also managed to strengthen some already strong positions and give the team a clear direction. While it’s important to look at the draft as a whole, it’s also important to dissect each pick individually. Some picks were absolute home runs, while some were wait-and-see picks.

However, something the Redskins managed to do that a lot of (though other teams could not) was avoid the head-scratching picks. Washington was able to select 10 players without any seemingly dreadful picks. At no time during the three-day event were people left wondering what the Redskins were thinking.

That’s not easy to do in any draft, let alone one when you have 10 picks. It does help that Washington entered the draft with a lot of needs. Due to that, most selections end up addressing a position of need, meaning most make sense at least on a base level. However, that’s not to say they weren’t still good or bad picks outside of that basic concept.

With all that in mind, let’s take a look back at each individual pick. We’ll dissect each pick one final time before the season, and give them each an individual grade. When all that’s over with, we can finally give the draft a grade as a whole.
