Offensive Line (9)

Tyron Smith, La’el Collins, Zack Martin, Connor Williams, Travis Frederick, Joe Looney, Connor McGovern, Cameron Fleming, Mitch Hyatt

The offensive line remains unchanged with the starting five — for now. Tyron Smith is a stud at left tackle and La’el Collins should still man the right tackle spot for this season. However, the fact that Connor McGovern was drafted in the third round suggests he could be the future at left guard, a spot currently occupied by Connor Williams.

Dallas spent a second-round pick on Williams and moved him to guard after he played outside at Texas. He’s there now but should be moved to tackle, his natural position. Their other guard is Zack Martin and he’s probably the best in the NFL.

At center, the hope is that Travis Frederick can return to health. He’s an All-Pro and, while Joe Looney did an admirable job, Frederick is still an improvement. Looney does return to back him up and is the only other reserve interior lineman on the 53-man roster — although Xavier Su’a-Filo has a shot to stick around should they go heavy at the position.

As for the swing tackle, that job will again be Cam Fleming’s. He did well in that role in 2018 and signed for two more seasons. Mitch Hyatt was an undrafted free agent signing and makes the roster. He should have been drafted after being a four-year starter and leader of the Clemson offensive line.
