The Dallas Cowboys addressed most of their needs in free agency and the 2019 NFL Draft. Here’s a look at five players who now find themselves on the roster bubble.

Another offseason of moves is all but in the books for the Dallas Cowboys as they made their big free agency moves as well as added talent in the 2019 NFL Draft. They also dipped their toes in the free agent rookie pool and found plenty of talent there as well to round out the roster.

Suddenly, this team has many new faces that could challenge for spots, which makes things competitive as they look to find the best 53 players to kick off the 2019 season. And as is always the case, this team is going to have a hard time figuring out who to keep and who to let go.

Each season, tough decisions are made as players who were brought to the team with plenty of promise end up being let go. Last season, for example, had several big cuts that weren’t expected when the offseason began.

Some surprises from the 2018 roster trim down include running back Bo Scarbrough and defensive linemen Kony Ealy, Charles Tapper and Jihad Ward. Of course, the most surprising was kicker Dan Bailey, who was released in favor of Brett Maher.

This season, there could be some more shockers we don’t see coming. As for the ones that could be less surprising, we dig into that here with a look at five players who find themselves on the roster bubble as they prepare for the 2019 NFL season.
