37. Tre Flowers, S, Seattle Seahawks

A fifth-round pick in 2018 out of Oklahoma State, Tre Flowers was pressed into action right away for the Seattle Seahawks who were in the midst of an overhaul of the ‘Legion of Boom’.

Flowers fits the mold of a Seattle defensive back considering he has size to spare. Listed at 6-foot-3 and 203-pounds, Flowers started 15 games for the ‘Hawks and ended up with 67 tackles and three forced fumbles. Not a bad start for a guy who was taken on day three.

38. Jeff Heath, S, Dallas Cowboys

This would have been Adrian Amos had he not moved to the Green Bay Packers and changed to No. 31 in the process. Since that happened, Jeff Heath ends up taking the crown for No. 38.

Heath is one of those players who simply understands his job. He’s not overly flashy and doesn’t make the big plays, but he rarely makes devastating mistakes. On top of his play at safety — and excellent coverage on special teams — Heath showed his worth when he filled in for an injured Dan Bailey in 2017. He was 2-of-3 on extra points and had some impressive kickoffs as well.

39. Eddie Jackson, S, Chicago Bears

A former Alabama standout, Eddie Jackson has developed into a ball hawk at strong safety for the Bears. He’s started all 30 games he’s played during the first two seasons of his career and had 82 tackles as a rookie and 81 this past season. For his career, he’s also picked up eight interceptions and ran three back for touchdowns.

This past season he was on fire with six interceptions and two scores coming in his sophomore campaign. Jackson was also credited with 15 pass deflections proving he has a nose for the ball.
