Which 2019 rookies have the best chance to make an immediate impact for the Dallas Cowboys this season as they defend their NFC East title?

Last year, the Dallas Cowboys were able to overcome a 3-5 start to finish the season with a 10-6 record. That was good enough for them to win the NFC East for the second time in three seasons, and they even defeated the Seattle Seahawks during Wild Card weekend.

They then lost to the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round of the playoffs by eight points. The fact that they weren’t blown out by the favored Rams is a good sign that they’re on the right track.

Looking to take their next step, the Cowboys added some new faces this offseason as they attempted to fill some of their holes. In free agency, they picked up Randall Cobb and George Iloka while also trading for Robert Quinn. Those moves will help, but so too should their incoming class of rookies.

Here, we look at that class and predict which players will have the biggest impact on the team during the 2019 season.

Undrafted Longshot: Daniel Wise, Defensive Tackle

Had Daniel Wise played at more of a football school than Kansas, he likely would have been drafted in the fourth or fifth round. Instead, he went undrafted but landed in a good spot with the Cowboys.

He has a great opportunity to make the 53-man roster and if he does, he could find himself in the defensive line rotation. It’s a longshot, which is why he doesn’t make the top-players list, but he’s worth keeping an eye on.
