Round 5, Pick 149: Hunter Renfrow, WR, Clemson

During the 2019 National Championship game, Mike Mayock said he’d get great marks if he drafted a bunch of Clemson and Alabama players. It turns out that Mayock wasn’t joking. Hunter Renfrow marks the third Clemson Tiger Mayock drafted and the fourth from the title game.

Renfrow is a rotational possession receiver. He has reliable hands and does solid work after the catch. The Draft Network praised his reliability:

"“The man catches absolutely everything. I’ve never seen him drop a ball… Maybe the best low-ball receiver in college football… Concentration and ability to adjust last second to balls outside his frame is uncanny.”"

Gruden and Olson might look for Renfrow to play early because of how reliable he is. Could he end up being a better pro than he was a college player?

Round 7, Pick 230: Quinton Bell, DE, Prairie View A&M

This is an Al Davis era Raiders selection, but one drafted in the right spot. Quinton Bell is an absolute freak. Bell’s pro day was phenomenal, not just for a guy his size, but for any player. At 6-3  and nearly 240-pound, Bell ran a 4.38-second 40 while posting a 41.5-inch vertical, an 11-4 broad jump, 23 bench press reps of 225 pounds, a 4.31-second short shuttle and a 7.0-second 3-cone drill to top it off.

If (and it’s a big if) the Raiders can somehow turn these numbers in production, he’d be a really good specialist. What he does have is value on special teams running down on kickoffs and as a big gunner.
