1. Julio Jones, WR

Was there really any doubt which Atlanta Falcons player would come in at No. 1 in this ranking? The Falcons front office jumped all the way up to the sixth pick in the 2011 NFL Draft to select him, and Julio Jones has proven their actions right ever since. I could be wrong, but I think six Pro Bowl and two All-Pro selections justify their decision eight years later.

While Jones has become one of the best Falcons of all-time, the longer he plays, the more he solidifies himself as a serious Hall-of-Fame candidate. In only 111 games, the former Alabama superstar has recorded 10,731 receiving yards and 51 touchdowns. He’s not only changed Atlanta’s offense, but he’s surpassed his mentor Roddy White, something not many people thought would happen earlier this decade.

Probably the best thing about Jones coming in at No. 1 in this rankingis that the spotlight he attracts is far from what he strives for. Don’t get me wrong, Jones wants to be the best, but he never seeks the spotlight.

In a world full of superstars fighting for the public eye, Jones keeps working behind the scenes and leaving his competition in the dust.
