The Atlanta Falcons have their sights set high in 2019, especially these three players who are ready to contribute after key 2018 seasons.

The Atlanta Falcons never expected to go through what they went through in 2018. This was supposed to be a team that added depth to their defense and held an offense that would dominate any defense in their path. Unfortunately, the Dirty Birds had to place Devonta Freeman, Deion Jones, Keanu Neal, Ricardo Allen, Andy Levitre and Brandon Fusco on Injured Reserve, among others.

As you may imagine, there are not a lot of teams in the NFL who could overcome serious injuries to three of their best defensive players. However, I’d argue this was a blessing in disguise for certain players on the team’s roster.

In a year where the pressure is at a recent high, Dan Quinn should find confidence in the fact he has several players who went through the fire of experience in 2018 and should be ready to contribute in a larger way this upcoming season. If these three specific players can take that proverbial “next step”, this Dirty Birds squad is going to be dangerous, especially on the defensive side of the football.

Without further ado, take a look at the three Atlanta Falcons who are easily the most underrated and ready to contribute in a large way this season.
